Andrea Chalupa

For over ten years, Andrea has been a frequent speaker at universities, high schools, and prominent institutions focused on arts, media, and history. Her human rights advocacy includes the short documentary The Holodomor: Stalin’s Secret Genocide, which she wrote and directed. The documentary premiered in the U.S. at the United Nations in 2016. As a founding organizer of the March for Truth, Andrea played a key role in mobilizing a movement that demanded transparency in the Russia-Trump investigation through marches in over 130 cities across the U.S. in spring 2017. Andrea is a regular speaker to the media, universities, and high schools, discussing a range of crucial subjects, including the history and current struggle of democracy versus autocracy in the U.S, decolonizing the global understanding of Ukraine and Russia, the intersection of art and activism, human rights, combating corruption, and building a safe and livable future for all.
